Cabooses
Now you can have your caboose and make sure it's a standout on your S scale
trains! We've developed the standard 35-foot "Santa Fe" steel caboose
kit for your model railroads. This polystyrene resin kit features loads of
detail, just like the 1930s version of this car built by the American Car &
Foundry Company.
The S scale kits feature a cast round roof, just like the prototype, and all
necessary details except trucks and couplers. Smokejack, end ladders, railings,
battery boxes and brakewheels are all included. Not painted, no lettering
included. Any lettering can be applied, however.
Even tinplaters can build this model easily and put hi-rail trucks and
couplers on it! $35.95 each or two for $68.00 (With American Models caboose
trucks, add $6.00); specify scale or hi-rail trucks. Scenery Unlimited's line
of urethane car kits is great; fine detail already molded in and easy to
assemble.
